Those where reality is real are documentary photos. Here, on the contrary, everything has to happen by itself, that is, there can be no staged light, pose or location, because such a photo should reflect exactly the reality that exists at the time of shooting. That’s why post-processing a photo is taboo, because in this case the camera is like a mirror that reflects the truth. Such images are used in reports, for example, about wildlife, where photographers sometimes wait for hours or even days to catch the right shot.

Five conditions for high-quality art photography:

• Idea. In order for an artistic photo to be filled with a certain meaning and content, you need to decide on the idea itself, that is, what it is for – for a family photo album or for publication in a magazine.
• Location. Before taking a photo, you should decide on the location that would be best suited to realize all your ideas.
• Light. Of course, natural light is the best assistant for a photographer, but what if it’s not enough? In such cases, you should use artificial professional lighting that the photographer can adjust to their own needs.
• Decor. Since the photo is staged, there is an opportunity to experiment with additional attributes that will best suit a particular genre of photo.
• The angle. In artistic photography, it is important to choose the right angle that would best reflect the essence of the photo.

Summarizing the above, we can say that artistic photography requires careful preparation on the part of the photographer, because through the photo you need to convey many moments that should touch the heart of the person who will look at them. Expression, emotions, style, feelings, experiences and beauty should be the center of artistic photography in order to be remembered and admired.
